Age gap.

There is a shanghai girl I knew 1.5 year ago from a BBS(we never met in rela life). Her situation is a bit similar as mine: She married a German, and moved here, the age difference between them is 6.  And also she is 6 years younger than me.

We sometimes chatted via MSN.

Once time we started to talk about Christmas gift(Here I remark her as 'N'):

N: Hey, Christmas is coming, what kind of gift you will give to your husband?

Me: I don't know, I asked him, but he said he had no idea.

N: Oh..... you two should 'talk' these things openly.

I think we did, I asked, and he said no idea.

N: If my husband answered in this way, I will say 'Ok, then you get nothing, it's your choice.'

Me: Hehe, I guess just that my husband is not into 'gift' things.

N: We also not, but we are more open to talk and let each other to satisfy each other.

Huh? I didn't know what she meant, so I just joke:

Me: Oh, don't feel bothered, my husband is just a boring guy.

N: Really, you think so?

Hmmm, maybe not.......

Me: Well, since his nickname is 'boring meanie', and mine is 'bossy bullie'.

N: OMG!

Me: Hey, take it easy, we just joke around.

N: My husband and me only call each other babe and sweetheart.

Me: Sigh, maybe just because we're older, so the nicknames are less sweet.

And the phone rang 

Me: I have a phone call now.

..............................................

Me: Ok, it was my husband, I checkd with him again about the gift, he still said he has no idea.

N: Oh, my husband called me before, but for sure our topics were much more fun.

Hmmmm, this girl must have a super-happy marriage life.

At evening, I told T all of these:

Me: Blah blah blah......

T: hahahaha.

Me: Don't call me sweetheart. Meanie.

T: I won't.

Anyway, N is a cute funny girl, and enjoys her sweet happy life. That's good!
